Early Education Program

for Hearing Impaired Children

Volunteers

The Early Education Program for Hearing Impaired Children (EEP) welcomes volunteers to support and assist its work. Much of the work of the EEP relies on highly trained and experienced professionals but there are many supporting tasks that volunteers can assist with. If you have skills in administration, library cataloguing, cleaning, multi-media, building maintenance, I.T. or fundraising and you are interested in volunteering for the EEP please contact the Program Manager.

To ensure the safety of children, current legislation mandates that all people working and volunteering in centres where children attend, must have a “Working with Children Identification Card”. All volunteers must obtain this before starting at the centre. The EEP will assist prospective volunteers to obtain this card. There is no charge but all volunteers require a detailed police check.

Contact the EEP for more information.
