If your baby or young child has been diagnosed with a hearing loss, the Early Education Program for Hearing Impaired Children (EEP) is available to assist you. An Early Support Program is available to families who have a child with permanent hearing loss. We can provide support to help you cope with your emotions; assistance to understand the information you have been given and information about what services are available. Please phone 9596 6830 for assistance.
As well as this Early Support Program the EEP provides ongoing Early Intervention Services to help children with hearing loss develop communication, speech, listening and language skills. The EEP staff work with parents to maximize their child’s development. All programs aim to minimize the impact of hearing loss by assisting parents to enhance their child’s language, social and cognitive skills.
